Terms of Service

AI VA in a Box ("VA in a Box", "we", "us", "our") is a product of CRTFD, operated by TPJ Ventures Pty Ltd (ABN available on request), a company registered in New South Wales, Australia. By creating an account or purchasing access, you agree to these terms.

1. Your account and access

When you purchase AI VA in a Box you receive:

• Lifetime access to the student portal, including all learning paths, lessons and downloadable toolkit files, for one payment
• Eligibility to earn CRTFD AI Certified credentials by completing the assessment requirements
• Optional membership of The Operators community, billed separately (see section 4)

Access is personal and non-transferable. Each account is for a single individual. Sharing login credentials or redistributing course materials is prohibited and may result in access being revoked without refund.

2. Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your card details. One-time access to VA in a Box is a single payment. We may offer launch pricing, affiliate discounts or promotions at our discretion. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.

3. Refund policy

We want you to feel confident about your purchase:

• Within 7 days of purchase: a full refund is available if you have completed fewer than five lessons and have not downloaded the toolkit files. Email us to request it.
• After 7 days, or once you have accessed a substantial part of the materials: because this is an instantly accessible digital product, refunds are not available for change of mind.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (see section 9). Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 5 to 10 business days to appear.

4. The Operators membership

The Operators is an optional community membership billed monthly in US dollars via Stripe. It includes weekly live sessions, monthly tool drops and the community wall. You can cancel at any time from your account, and your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Payments already made for a current or past period are not refunded on cancellation.

5. Intellectual property

All course content, lessons, templates, frameworks and resources provided through VA in a Box remain the intellectual property of TPJ Ventures Pty Ltd. You may use downloaded materials for your own personal and professional work but may not resell, redistribute or republish them. Work you create as you go (your deliverables, portfolio pieces and challenge submissions) belongs to you.

6. Code of conduct

VA in a Box is a professional learning environment. We expect all members to:

• Treat other operators, assessors and staff with respect
• Not share or redistribute course materials outside the programme
• Participate honestly in assessments and submit their own work
• Use AI tools ethically and in line with lesson guidance

We may remove members who breach these standards without refund.

7. Certification and placement

CRTFD AI Certified credentials are awarded on successful completion of the assessment requirements, including the competency challenge. Assessment uses an AI-assisted review confirmed by a trained human assessor, and certification is at the discretion of the CRTFD assessment team. Placement or introductions to hiring businesses are not guaranteed; they are offered to strong graduates and depend on employer availability and requirements.

8. Third-party tools

The programme requires third-party tools, in particular Anthropic's Claude, which carry their own subscription costs and terms. We are not responsible for changes to the pricing, availability or terms of third-party services. Always check a provider's live pricing before you subscribe.

9. Limitation of liability and consumer rights

VA in a Box is an educational product. We do not guarantee specific income, employment or rate outcomes. Results depend on your own effort, market conditions and other factors beyond our control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for access.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the portal after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
